Here are some of my favorite recipes from the blog archives that would be great to make during Cuaresma.
With Lent (Cuaresma) beginning on Wednesday, you may be looking for some seafood recipes and other meat substitutes to have on Fridays during Lent. Even if you don’t practice Lent’s tradition of not eating meat on Fridays, cutting back on animal fat sounds like a healthy idea to me!

Thanks for posting! The pescado aborrajado looks really tasty. I'm trying to get into eating more fish, so this recipe looks perfect. I bet that it would taste really good with the avocado that's on the side. I'm looking forward to trying this out tonight.

Seafood is meat! It comes from marine animals (different species of invertebrates). If you don’t eat meat for lent, then you wouldn’t be eating seafood.
