Although I haven't practiced any particular organized religion for quite a while, having gone to Catholic school for 12 years, I do try not to eat meat on Good Friday. Maybe it's my mom's voice in my head telling me that I should never eat meat on "Viernes Santo" 🙂
For those of you who don't eat meat on Good Friday, here's a delicious fish dish you can prepare for your meal that day.
I hope you enjoy this dish as much as I do!
Buen provecho!

Doesn't matter which religion (or any) you ascribe to...this dish is tasty for almost everyone!

I don't think the meat would be missed with a decadent dish like this one. YUM!

Lovely dish for any time. I am orthodox but also went to catholic school for twelve years. I think orthodox religion is more strict regarding fasting as for 48 days not meat and animal products are allowed and fish only twice during these 48 days.

It's rare to see white fish in such a creamy application but if I was ever on the fence about fish, this would turn me onto it! My mom only used to make us go to church on Ash wednesday. Go figure. 😛

This is so delicious! I only ever made gratin with potatoes and pumpkins, never thought of adding fish or shrimps into gratin...a great recipe indeed!
