Catching Up with Me {July 2013}
Hi guys, I hope you're all enjoying the summer! It's time for my monthly "Catching Up with Me" post.
I want to thank all of my Facebook followers, this month we reached 8.000 likes! I'm very happy to share my love for Colombian food with all of you.
If you want to follow My Colombian Recipes on Facebook, and I hope you do, just click here and make sure you go to settings and select "All Updates". Thanks for liking my page!
Five more things about the girl behind the blog:
1. I hate unmade beds.
2. I can’t go anywhere without my sunglasses.
3. I love condiments on everything, ketchup being my favorite.
4. I love everything coffee! Coffee flan, coffee ice cream, coffee cake, ice coffee, hot coffee, coffee candy (from Colombia) anything with coffee flavor and I'm in 🙂
5. I hate camping. I’ve only been camping once in my life and it was more than enough! I realized that I like having a bed and bathroom.
If you missed any of the other monthly “Catching Up with Me” posts, you can check them out here.

Completely agree with you on sunglasses, coffee and camping! Especially camping in places where there are dangerous wild animals (bears, snakes, ughhh)!

I hate unmade beds too!! I've been on this hunt for an easier cleaner way to do it. Love the Scandinavian look.... BTW I tried your avocado shrimp mango recipe and I'm ADDICTED!!!

That's awesome that you share so much of yourself with us! I was born in Barranquilla, but raised here in the USA all my life so I have a limited amount of knowledge about my Colombian heritage. My mother use to make Colombian food at home and she was an amazing cook, but after she passed away, sadly the recipes went with her. I want to thank you, becuase, in a way, your recipes have connected me back to my mother and that has meant a lot to me! Keep up the good work Erica, you're doing an amazing job! 😀
